To guys: how do you feel about a girl who's a virgin??
Hello, I'm a girl, 24, a virgin. At first it was a religious thing because I was raised a Christian and was taught that sex was evil. Now i'm not religious (for some time now) but was afraid to have sex for several reasons:
1. thinking that it would terribly hurt
2. didn't know (afraid) how to tell a guy that I was still a virgin, so didn't get intimate to 'that' point
I am not a type of person who believes in no sex before marriage, in fact i don't even want to get married (politics). I have no problem getting a guy but the problem now is most guys i meet are just jerks and not real men. I actually told one guy that I was a virgin and we even talked about me loosing it with him and we almost had an intercourse, but I got so freaked out and backed out, later it turned out this guy was a jerk too.
I have been fingered and masturbated several times, had amazing phone sex with one guy for some time, but in this society it seems that its a shame if you're 24 and still a virgin. I don't want to lose to a random guy, but I want to have sex too because i know it will be good and I think I'm a very sexual person and is missing out. Perhaps i'm being too insecure about my virginity (i do feel proud but not all the time) and when i meet a nice person I will be afraid of telling him I'm a virgin and see his reaction.
I want to hear some guys' responses about this PLEASE

oh one more thing
and one more thing: would the guy think that something is wrong with me because I waited so long and won't want to do it because I'm not experienced??
I really want to give it away to someone who deserves it and I want to have a passionate loving sex and not just 'get laid'.

Hey
I wouldn't think that anything is wrong with you. I would feel very honered that I was special enough for you to give that to. Just make sure you find a guy that wants you for you, and not because he gets to be your first. Guys will tell you anything you want to hear to get that.

Couldnt have said it better myself. I have made some bad choices in the past due to hormoanes raging when it came to a girl being a virgin. I didnt get the chance to take her virginity but luckily I did get the chance to date her at a later date. As a matter of fact Im STILL with her and going 7 1/2 years strong!! I have grown alot in maturity in the passed 10 years. But back to your question. I think if I were confronted by a girl and she told me that she was a virgin I dont think Id have any problem with taking it slow and at the pace she felt comfortable with. As for the BOYS who throw a fit because they didnt score with a virgin, Well they werent worth a damn anyway. Dont let your virginity stand in the way of your happiness. If he is a REAL man he will take it in stride and when your ready he will be the first to know.
