Do you think you should tell your first partner?
about your virginity?
I've always wondered about this. I think if I told them, it would be too much pressure and they might get nervous giving me a bad first experience.
I always imagined I'd say it after the deed was done...thoughts? Not losing it anytime soon, just curious to hear from others. It gets lonely in my head haha, would be nice to hear from other virgins.

telling your gal you're a virgin during the act?
Okay, I'll bite.
I think a girl, particularly if she was a Christian virgin like yourself, might be flattered to know she was your first.
There's really nothing to be ashamed of.
I would wait, however, until after he finishes as a guy might be less nervous then.

Here’s what I’ve learned from my multiple relationships, none of which resulted in me losing my virginity – and a WARNING that there’s stuff in here that may upset/trigger some people, as it mentions violent crime:
Tell him you’re a virgin if you want the following –
-for him to abruptly change his mind and decide suddenly that you’re not a potential lover, but instead a pathetic piece of shit that no man would want to go anywhere near
-to no longer be seen as an adult, an equal, but instead as a subject of pity
-for him to constantly remind you that you’re missing out on a life experience that you would rather not miss out on, and that he’s had sex with everyone else on the planet, but still not willing to please you, because you are clueless and don’t deserve the chance to improve your sexual performance
-to spend every day of your life regretting having opened your big fat mouth, because if you hadn’t, you wouldn’t be a virgin anymore, and therefore you’d have people in your life who were willing to get to know you, spend time with you and even be seen with you in public
-to be beaten, molested and raped.
No one is ever "flattered" by the revelation. Rather, they are horrified and revolted. Suddenly it becomes obvious that they don't see you in that way, and they don't respect you, even though they did before you mentioned this horrible secret.

Virginity
Melb, why would you care what that guy thought if he has that opinion about virgins and virginity? Being a male virgin myself I would prefer a virgin , but its not an absolute must.
What is an absolute must for me is that she must not believe in premarital sex.
If she does I'm running away from her as fast as I can.
What I can't understand is why the opinions of this type of guy would bother you at all.

Hey Bippy thanks for your point of view; it was interesting. I only want to lose my V to someone I have deep feelings for, and anyone I feel that way about tends to be a jerk like what I described. But I wasn't just complaining about one person; I was more venting about the society in which I live and how it breeds these attitudes in almost every person I've told about the fact that I'm a virgin. I'm sure I'm being insular, because for so long I've been at university, where you can't even make friends without sleeping with every person you make eye contact with; but I really can't imagine meeting a man in this country who's OK to fuck a virgin, unless he's religious, and I don't want to be with someone religious. So if I want to stop being a virgin, and I do, I don't have many options except to sleep with a jerk.
