A Bird In The Hand

Got married in a hawaiian wedding to a pastors daughter when we were both 17. She was beautiful, Ukrainian woman born in Hawaii. We knew each other from kids, went to school together. So I thought I knew her. Wrong.

Couple months into the marriage, she started drinking voldka and smoking elephant weed (bad ass shit). I'd come home from my construction job working at the Pagoda hotel. Tired and hungry, but she'd be gone, drinking, smoking, came home all fucked up and nasty mean.

Found out she was screwing around with some guy California. So I threw her out. Came home a couple days later to find her drinking from a bottle in the kitchen. She threw it at me but missed, and the smell of volka was always in that kitchen until I moved out.

Last fight we had was at a supermarket in the meat section. A floor freezer had frozen chickens in it, she picked one up and threw it at me, just like the bottle. I ducked, but it smacked a little old lady in the head while she was pushing her cart along. Knocked the old lady down to the floor. An employee ran after my ex, all the way out into the parking lot. My ex tried to hit him with her car, ran into the backend of a parked truck. The truck caught fire.

She got a dui and one year of jail time.

I never saw her again. Finalized the divorce without her being present.

After that bad breakup I never married again.

Wives and chickens must be a gender thing

Old girlfriend liked to throw drumsticks and potatoes from the dinner table. Food as projectiles. I can't get over that somebody else knew one of these wack jobs with their bird fare.

I thinks its a european thing. My wack job was from Moldova. Eastern european women might have been trained as a super secret last resort brigade, trained in food fu. Cook the dinner, set the table, start targeting enemy troops.

Maybe thats why I love Russian women.
