Child Abduction

After I left my husband in Colorado, I took my son and moved to my moms in Utah. He was aware of the situation and wanted me out immediately. So we moved to Utah. He has been out a couple times to see our son, and I have had no problem with that. I let them talk whenever, Skype whenever, did anything I could to make the situation easier. This last weekend he came down to visit. On Sunday I got a call from my neighbor in Co asking if I was in town. I said No why? and he replied that he has just seen my son. I lost it. The *as*tard took off with my son to Colorado. I was served with the divorce papers on Sunday. I called the police and they sadly informed me that because the papers are not signed by a judge that there was nothing they could do. Because we are still technically married and he is the father, he is allowed to kidnap my son. I am devastated by this. My moms boyfriend is going to hire me a lawyer but I feel so lost and helpless right now. I have been the main parent to my son his whole life. I did everything. He didn't even change diapers. And now I have this gaping hole in my heart where my son used to be and I am trying to be strong and keep it together. I was going to play nice and give him 50/50 custody but not now. I am going to take him for all I can, including full custody. I don't know what to do. Any advice? I am hurting so badly.
