you think of the advice on those dating websites?
Here's my 2 cents.
Over the course of the last 3 or 4 years, I've actually been looking at a bunch of these different dating products, but for women. I admit, I'm not the best at getting men to notice me, so I wanted to try and see if I could learn how. Dating isn't always easy.
Long story short, a lot of them do offer some good advice. After looking at a few, I would say that the advice is about the same. And when I practiced a few of these concepts, I started getting a little better at dating. But I don't think it helped me meet people as much as I had hoped.
At this point, I've pretty much stopped reading any more books about dating, because I feel I've learned enough. And most of what you really learn thats valuable, you learn through experience and trial and error anyway.
Nowadays, I just stick to online dating. It's so much easier and there are more opportunities for me at least. In case you're wondering, here's the site that I use and I like a lot. But there are a few others that aren't bad either.

Definitely for most of us dating isn't always easy. But online dating is a successful concept. It is comparatively safe and gives you enough time to find out the information as much as possible about a person before you actually meeting him or her. This means you meet the person only if you are convinced enough and want to take your relationship to the next level.

I found more and more people around me look for casual dating for kind of NSA relationship rather than serious relationship.

Confidence
The concept of online dating had brought up confidence for those who are not so good at it and with that confidence they are able to make a mark within their friend circle and i consider myself in this category,I am really thankful to the concept of online dating.....

I like the comment about confidence, its true that online dating lets people who aren't super great at meeting new people use another method. theres a lot of room for deception but its price to pay and its worth it, I am also shy and use online dating regularly. Helps to get through that first step of meeting someone new.

Kent said it the best way because I have done online dating for a while and it feels that 90% of people online dating are looking for a hookup. I am a guy and i feel that way - if I was a girl I would want go insane, almost 100% of online dating males are looking for a nsa hookup no strings attached whatever you want to call it. Ya some sites are better but they all have risk unless they cost thousands of dollars. it sucks but you have to take the safety and honestly issues with online dating into your own hands.

Advices and tips
Hi guys, I hope my advices will help you! As you know there are a lot of scam going on on different dating sites and here my tips to avoid problems
1. Chat only with ladies with camera
2. Do not hesitate to take it to the next level and exchange contacts with ladies
3. You will need to come and visit her to her country if you count on serious relationship
4. If a lady ask you to send her money (even indirectly) - it's a red flag!
5. Do not much rely on letters, better talk on the phone and chat with camera
Personally I use russian-marriage.com dating site and so far I'm happy with the lady I met there and their services I hope my advice will be helpful to someone :)

David - seems like those tips would be good for the foreign romance thing, not necessarily online dating with people near you, but they are good tips for people who want to try and meet people from other countries like on match.com

Foreign or Local Online Dating
yes, the truth is that there is a massive difference between online dating with men and women from the same location and online dating internationally. When you choose to date women from foreign countries such as Ukraine and China, there is a lot more to take into account.
It's important to keep yourself safe by educating yourself on some of the common scams that happen.
If you are dating online but just with local singles, it's not as big of a risk but it's still a risk nonetheless. never just go meet someone in a private place unless you actually know them well.
